Who We Are

Safe Haven Recovery is a sanctuary for healing for women survivors of addiction, abuse and sex trafficking. We are a community of survivors, advocates, employees, interns, volunteers and friends from all across the world. We are young and old, women and men. We believe that, in the end, love is the strongest force for change in the world.

We are a new non-profit sister organization to Thistle Farms, a successful program that has helped hundreds of women and families to heal.  This summer, we are fundraising and organizing using the model.  We are currently preparing to open our first home. After the first project is complete, we plan to open Dandelion Meadow in Purcellville, a social entrepreneurship that will offer products handmade by our residents, and residents of similar programs all over the world, in order to provide vocational training and to bring awareness to the overwhelming problems of addiction and trafficking.  We work with partners throughout the area to provide the best individualized healing process to each woman.
